Unconscious Bias in Supply Chain © is an introduction to the concept of unconscious bias – the mental shortcuts our brains take to help us make decisions quickly.

The course is aimed at raising awareness of how unconscious biases work, and how they can negatively influence supply chain interactions and decisions.

Alex Alvarez, is the 1st first to truly discuss and teach unconscious bias as it pertains to supply chain to many corporations and individuals at several events.

He also is the 1st first to create a software tool to determine supply chain bias.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the training, learners will be able to:

  • Explain what unconscious bias is
  • Understand how it can negatively influence Supply Chain decisions
  • Understand the scientific research on unconscious bias and its influence in the supply chain and world
  • Commit to taking at least one action to reduce the influence of unconscious bias
