Angela M. Guzman is the Director of Supplier Diversity at NBCUniversal. As the Director of this important initiative, she is responsible for developing partnerships that will promote the use of minority-, women-, veteran- LGBT and disabled owned businesses company-wide. Guzman serves as a lead liaison between NBCUniversal, the diverse supplier community and diverse supplier advocacy groups. She brings 15 years of media industry experience to the role and has worked on all sides of the business including finance, marketing and programming.
In 2017, Angela spearheaded the launch of the NBCUniversal’s EDGE Accelerator program, the first ever business accelerator program geared toward the development of and investment in diverse owned businesses that specialize in media, marketing, production and digital technologies. Angela is a leading advocate for diversity in the Media & Entertainment industry and currently serves as the Chair of NMSDC’s Advertising,Entertainment, Media and Sports industry group. Angela also serves as the Vice Chair of the New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council and is a participant in the Aspen Institutes Latinos & Society program.
She studied Business Administration at the City University of New York and earned a B.B.A in Finance from Queens College. Angela resides in Queens, NY with her two sons.
