Joshua King is Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at American Water Company. In his role, Mr. King oversees all aspects of procurement and fleet for the country’s largest publicly traded water utility with operations in 47 states.
Prior to his current role, Mr. King served in a variety of procurement, materials management, and operations roles at Arizona Public Service, Arizona’s largest electric utility. Mr. King was a Director of Consulting Services for PowerAdvocate where he partnered with supply chain executives to develop and executive strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
Mr. King served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy from 1999-2006. He holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, an M.B.A. from Villanova University and is a graduate of the Columbia University Executive Education Program. He is an avid Philadelphia sports enthusiast and dog lover.
